WS Flight Plan - User Guide

Features:

  • Standard mode: Plan complex flight paths with waypoints
  • Competition mode: Design competition flight patterns
  • Wind data integration
  • Save and load flight plans
  • Satellite and map views
  • Altitude unit conversion (meters/feet)

Getting Started:

  1. Set dropzone: Click "Dropzone" to search and set location
  2. Configure jump run: Click "Jump Run" for direction/offset
  3. Choose mode:
    • Standard: Add waypoints for complex paths
    • Competition: Design patterns with multiple exits
  4. Plan flight: Add waypoints or set competition pattern
  5. Save plan: Use "Save" to download your plan

Standard Mode:

  • Click "Waypoints" to add intermediate waypoints
  • Set altitude, direction change, and glide ratio
  • Use "Set Target" to create target point
  • Drag waypoints on map to adjust positions

Competition Mode:

  • Enable "Competition Mode" in Jump Run dialog
  • Click "Flight Pattern" to configure exit points
  • Set exits per pass and lane width
  • Drag ground reference markers to adjust paths
  • Use "Reset Ground References" for defaults

Additional Features:

  • Wind Arrows: Toggle wind display at different altitudes
  • Satellite View: Switch between map/satellite views
  • Unit Conversion: Switch meters/feet for altitude
  • Save/Load: Save plans as JSON files
